Troubleshoot on Startup Problem

Check the following to troubleshoot when the SAP can’t be started.

1. Grep for SAP work process “ps –ef |grep dw.sap” . You should see list of process shown in screen shot.

If the list of process there but still can’t login to SAP. Go to next step

2. Goto to /usr/sap//DVEBMGS01/work directory.

3. Check some of the file like dev_?? For error messages.
